PDF Crochet Pattern for Splitty Campervan Shoulder Bag

This crochet pattern (written in UK terms) is to make a Splitty Campervan Shoulder Bag approximately 30cm/12″ square. I made the original in Wendy Serenity Super Chunky yarn (5 x 100g balls, 2 Chalk, 1 Jet and 2 x Sea Holly – each ball has approximately 80 metres of yarn so make sure you have enough metres if you use an alternative brand). This is crocheted to a tension of 11 sts and 12 rows to 10cm/4 inches on a 6mm hook.
To add details such as the lights and indicators you’ll need oddments of Double Knitting yarn in red and orange for the rear indicators, cream and silver grey for the headlamps and dark grey for the logo on the front.
I didn’t use a fastener but if you wanted to make your bag extra secure you could either use a magnetic catch or a zip – I’ll leave that up to you.  I also found that the crocheted fabric was dense enough not to need a lining but again if you want to add one that is up to you!
*** PLEASE NOTE that on purchasing your pattern you will be sent an order acknowledgement from Slightly Sheepish which will contain a link to enable you to download your pattern as a PDF document. Have fun, happy crocheting!
