Today we’re making his feet and legs.

Please note – I’m based in the UK and use UK crochet terminology.  You can see a list of abbreviations on the post for Day 1.

Feet & Legs – make 2

Using 4mm hook and 2 strands Black work 11 ch

Round 1 – 2dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of next 2ch, 1htr into each of next 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3ch, 6tr into last ch, working along opposite side of chain, 3tr, 3htr, 2dc, 2dc into last ch, ss to top of 1st st (26sts)

Round 2 – 1ch, 1dc, 2dc into next st, 10dc, 2dc into next st, 1dc, 2dc into next st, 10dc, 2dc into last st, ss into 1st st (30sts)

Place the piece onto card and draw around it.

Cut the card inside the line so that it is slightly smaller than your crocheted piece then put aside until later.

Round 3 – 1ch, 1dc into back loop of each st, ss into 1st st (30sts)

Round 4 – 1ch, 9dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 2dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 9dc, ss into 1st st (26sts)

Round 5 – 1ch, 5dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog x 2, 1dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 5dc, ss into 1st st (20sts)

Round 6 – 1ch, 4dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 2dc, dc2tog, 1dc, dc2tog, 4dc, ss into 1st st (16sts)

Fasten off and insert card.

Legs

Using 4mm hook and 2 strands Blue join yarn to back of foot.

Round 1 – 1ch, 1dc into same space, 1dc into each st, ss into 1st st (16sts)

Round 2 – 1ch, 1dc into each st, ss into 1st st (16sts)

Round 3 – 1ch, (3dc, 2dc into next st) x 4, ss into 1st st (20sts)

Fasten off, work in any loose ends and stuff firmly.
