PDF Knitting Pattern for Campervan Travels Countryside Mittens

PDF Knitting Pattern for Campervan Travels Countryside Mittens

This knitting pattern is for a pair of Campervan Travels Countryside Mittens.    Knitting on smaller needles for this weight of yarn means the mittens are nice and snug, no more chilly fingers!

Finished Size

You finished mittens should measure 3 inches/7.5cm for the cuff and  7 inches/18cm from the wrist to the tip.  This give you 10 inches/25 cm in total.  They are 8 inches/20cm around.

What you need to make them

You’ll need 3.75mm (UK9/US5) Circular, Double Pointed or Straight Needles for the Mittens.   The pattern includes instructions for In The Round and Straight (Flat) knitting)

3mm (UK11/US 2 or 3) needles for the Campervans.

The mittens used only 80g/2.8 ounces of yarn in total. I used Stylecraft Special Aran which I bought from Wool Warehouse here in the United Kingdom in Graphite (1063), Meadow (1065) and Cloud (1019).  I also used Black and White for the Sheep.

To finish you’ll need 4 buttons (I used half inch/1.5cm 4 hole buttons.

Some black thread (Birds)
